An update- many thanks for all the wonderful letters and smiles. i have not replied to very many and have stopped returning the smiles. please don't see this as bad manners and i know it is ignoring the sites protocol but there are simply too many. to the beautiful young women who have written to me -thank you but you are far too young and beautiful to waste your magnificent youth with all its potential on an old man like me!!!At 45 i don't think i can realistically look past a 10 year age gap for a long term relationship. As regards the letters I am very sorry not to have replied yet...... it does not mean i'm not interested -there are just so many at the moment. in all honesty when I look at myself I don't see a man who is worthy of such fantastic, smart, positive, energetic and beautiful women. it seems to me that Ukrainian and Russian men are very fortunate-jakemcman. genuine, happy ,honest, financially independent irish man. my wife died six years ago and i am ready to see if love will give me a second chance. I'm tall and very interested in sports and travel. In the letters some women asked why I am using this site and there is a simple answer. I saw a tv programme about Western men going to Russia, Ukraine and other countries to meet women for possible marriage and while I wasn't too impressed with some of the men in the programme the women seemed very genuine-so here I am! To answer another question the photo was taken in Spain where I was on holiday in July.-Jakemcman.
