After an active life as an engineer working in many foreign countries I live more quietly in a small village in southern France, with frequent periods on the south of the border in Spain (pandemia permitting!).
My three children are independent and lead their own lives.
My centers of interest are many, like music (many types of music), scientific and technical topics, music, nature and ecology, arts, history, architecture….I read a lot, free time permitting.
I have also always been interested in discovering other cultures, taking advantage of my professional travels; I can also speak German, some Italian and Japanese and I am now re-studying Russian (I had studied it for one year when I was a student).
I do regular exercise (swimming, walking…) to keep up in shape, I cultivate my own garden (with mixed results, He He!), working hard at sustainability
I am also seriously involved in dancing Tango Argentino and Folklore (activity suspended until the sanitary situation really improves….).
I practiced Qi Gong for years and I try to keep the corresponding «martial arts» attitude (mental and physical). I try to remain open-minded and easy-going, I think that non-violence should be preferred to resolve conflicts.

What am I looking for? Well, I am not here in a supermarket with a shopping list or list of specifications, I think that fate and luck may lead to interesting and surprising encounters; discovering each other and learning to apreciate our differences, sharing each other’s cultures and spending time and travelling together; all this can be a fruitful source of happiness. I am not here for games, I have too much respect for ladies.
A last point: although I love to spend time in Spain, I am not at all of the machist/patriarcal Mediterranean type; on the contrary I am sincerely feminist and supporting the movement.

So if you feel an interest, do not hesitate to jump in the pond (even without bikini, we will find together something to cover you!).
