I live a very simple life and all I need to complete the good life I am living right now is nothing but a woman with good heart. We have all experienced loss, and for some, truly trying and painful life experiences. And most of us coped with them the best we could, given the tools we had at the time. In our adult lives, those coping mechanisms no longer serve and we need to examine those experiences – welcome them back in with love and acceptance and integrate them into our beings. Get over it and Let it go are truly not effective strategies in dealing with loss to achieve joyfulness and fulfillment. Self-awareness and a practice of self-love and self-forgiveness are essential to this integration. Spiritual belief is good; a spiritual practice is far better.

I believe strongly that regardless of our life circumstances, we have a choice each day to create happiness, as opposed to pursue happiness. I respect kindness and compassion in a woman. To me, compassion for others means knowing that in any situation or dealing with anyone, that person ultimately just wants what every human being wants - unconditional love and acceptance. I believe that relationships must be built on a foundation of respect and trust. What do I respect in a woman? I respect a woman that has arrived at a place in life where she loves herself and forgives herself. I respect a woman that is positive.

I'm looking for someone who knows herself well and one who is willing to explore what has and hasn't worked in previous relationships. She is confident or willing to lean on me for support, and not afraid to say "no" and willing to say "yes". She is comfortable in the depth of intimacy, and who can be her own person at the same time. She has great character. She is strong at the right times, yet gentle when she needs to be; confident, yet compassionate in all things. She is family-oriented, reliable, trustworthy. She believes that "LOVE" is a verb and who takes pleasure in nurturing the relationship. She is very sensual and is easily excited by it. She is willing to accept that either of us can make a mistake and still be able to "cure" the relationship.
