travelled, what most people would think of as, an enormous amount early in my career. I was a research scientist so attended international conferences and such like before moving to research in the oil industry. I spent 20+ years working as a part-time musician with various bands. I trained classically (piano & trumpet) when I was young and I got hired to sing and then help try to fill out the sound with keyboards, guitar, bass (and even harmonica) as required. Oh, and I like making stuff (furniture, garden planters and such like) out of wood.
