I am an intelligent, well educated,well read Professional in the Health Care Field. I work as a Registered Nurse in a small rural General Hospital. I usually work in the Emergency Room, or on the Medical/Surgical Unit. I also work on the town's ambulance service, as the Advanced Cardiac Life Support attendant for emergency transfers to more specialized hospitals in bigger cities, usually more than 100 miles away. I love History, Paleontology, Archeology, Anthropology, and this is the kind of reading I generally do.
I love the outdoors. I was born and raised into adulthood in Chicago, Illinois. but moved to International Falls, Minnesoata 24+ years ago, in order to get away from the pollution, crowding, congestion, crime, and generalized hub-bub of the big city, and to get closer to living in nature. I have a house in the town here, and also I own half interest of parts of an island, with two log cabins, boats and outbuilding in a lake 50 miles from here. I love boating, casual fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and just generally being in the outdoors. I like also to travel, see lots of new things, revisit places that I have been to before, and to generally explore and learn new things. My place on the island has all the modern comforts of home, and yet, since the road ends at the south end of the lake, it is right on the edge of true wilderness.
I am also educated as a High School teacher, but work as a nurse because the job security is better, the money is better, and I have greater autonomy and flexibility in what I do.
Since I have 24+ years of seniority where I work, I make great money, with good benefits, and lots of paid time off, with a schedule that allows me to travel a goodly bit. I have a great retirement plan, with several diverse sources of money available when I retire. I seek to share my life and all with a nice woman who loves being feminine, and who would like to be with a man of sensibility , responsibility, and intelligence. I love animals and have a dog and cats as pet. I am kind, gentle, well spoken , attractive, and look a lot younger than my age. My job is quite physical, lots of walking and lifting and so forth and it keeps me toned. I am romantic, and a gentleman, and love women. I used to know several Ukrainian women in the Ukrainian neighborhood in Chicago, and have found that most Ukrainian ladies are very desireable. I am somewhat disenchanted with American women, as they never seem to know what they want, except money, and never seem to be happy, no matter how hard a guy tries to make them happy.
