Hello! My name is John and I live in Indiana and not too far from Chicago.

I am 52 and work as a technical writer for a large biomedical company. I enjoy reading, learning languages, traveling, and cooking.

I am highly educated with graduate degrees in public relations, technical communications, and the third one in UX Design in progress. I speak German fluently, and I am learning French, Russian, and Italian.

When I was younger, I lived in Germany and traveled extensively throughout Europe. In 1984, I traveled to Moscow and St. Petersburg and fell in love with Russia and Russian women. My favorite author is Dostoevsky, and I also enjoy the novels of Tolstoy, Hermann Hesse, and Thomas Mann. I would like to meet a Russian or German woman because I am drawn to their intelligence as well as their physical beauty.

In many ways, I am an American. But Europe influenced me and I often find myself connecting with Europeans more easily than my American counterparts.
